Loaches are bottom-oriented freshwater fish with very different care requirements depending on species. This collection includes peaceful Kuhli Loaches, stream-adapted Hillstream Loaches, and larger social Yoyo Loaches. Kuhli Loaches prefer fine substrate and hiding places. Hillstream Loaches need mature, high-oxygen aquariums with current and biofilm. Yoyo Loaches require a larger social group, substantial floor space, and are not shrimp-safe.
