Green Kubotai Rasboras (Microdevario kubotai) are tiny nano fish known for their vivid neon yellow-green colouration — genuinely unusual in freshwater fish. At under an inch, a school of 12–15 creates a continuously moving cloud of bright colour through the mid-water of a planted tank.
Native to streams in Myanmar, peaceful schooling fish that do best in clean, well-planted water with moderate current. Safe with shrimp and snails. Every fish we ship is quarantined before departure.
Care Notes
Green Kubotai Rasboras need appropriately small food: micro pellets, micro worms, baby brine shrimp. Standard pellets and flake are too large. Feed twice daily in small amounts. They prefer planted tanks with moderate flow and open mid-water swimming space. Bright lighting enhances their neon yellow-green colouration.
Keep in groups of at least 8–10. Small groups are nervous and pale. A proper school shows constant movement, fuller colour, and natural schooling behaviour. Peaceful with all similarly sized tank mates and safe with adult shrimp.
