Albino Bristlenose Plecos are the classic white-to-peach colour form with the distinctive red eyes of albino animals. One of the most recognisable aquarium plecos and a longtime favourite for planted community tanks. Compact at 4–5 inches, peaceful, and genuinely effective algae cleaners.
Long-lived — often 10 or more years with proper care — and one of the most recommended utility additions to a planted tank. Every fish we ship is quarantined before departure.
Care Notes
Albino Bristlenose Plecos require driftwood in the tank for digestive health and constant biofilm rasping. Feed algae wafers, blanched zucchini, cucumber, or spinach as a regular staple. Supplement with sinking pellets. Provide at least one cave per fish.
Hardy and adaptable in stable, clean water with moderate flow. Peaceful with all fish. Males develop bushy bristles; females have smaller bristles or none. The albino form has pale white-to-peach colouration with red eyes.
