Hikari Micro Pellets are designed for tetras, rasboras, CPDs, danios, guppies, barbs, and other small-mouthed tropical fish. They can also be used for betta fish and other small community species.
Will they cloud the water?
No — each pellet has a micro-coating that locks in nutrition and prevents the water clouding typical of flake foods. Remove any uneaten food after the feeding period.

Do these float or sink?
They are semi-floating — they float briefly and then slowly sink, giving fish at all water levels a chance to feed. This makes them well-suited for both surface feeders and mid-water swimmers.
Can I use these for shrimp too?
Shrimp will opportunistically eat micro pellets that reach the substrate. These are primarily designed for small fish, but shrimp will graze on any pellets that settle near them.
