Pearl Weed (Micranthemum umbrosum) is a fast-growing stem plant with small, round, bright green leaves tightly paired along each stem. It creates a soft, dense mound of green that works well as a midground or even foreground plant in taller tanks. It ships as a small bunch of cut stems, lead-weighted together at the base.
Pearl Weed is adaptable and easy to grow under medium light without CO2. When trimmed regularly and kept low, it forms a lush, compact mound. Left to grow taller, it functions as a background plant. The stems should be separated, trimmed at the base, and planted individually.
